Sony Ericsson W995 Walkman
Music phone with 8.1-megapixel camera. Thanks to its standard headphone jack, it's the best phone in the excellent Walkman range. Sony Ericsson is giving a masterclass in music phones with the W995 Walkman. The company wants to blow our minds with its upcoming entertainment-orientated powerhouse, the Satio, but, after using the W995, we're pretty blown away already, thanks very much. This is a music phone that takes everything great about the Walkman range and makes it even better, thanks to the standard 3.5mm headphone jack. And, with an 8.1-megapixel camera, it makes a very good camera phone as well....

The Apple iPhone and other smartphones hitting the market are cool, but if you don't have a spare $200 in your wallet, and you can't afford the hefty monthly service fees, there are less expensive options that still offer some of the wireless Web at a much more affordable price tag.These alternative phones may not be as sexy as the iPhone or the new Palm Pre. And the Internet service and applications will not be as slick as what you'll find on a full-fledged smartphone. But for many wireless subscribers, less expensive feature-phones and cheaper data plans will offer enough to do the trick....
T-Mobile MyTouch 3G - white
Sometimes, good things come to those who wait. Almost 10 months after the G1, we finally have the carrier's second Android phone, the T-Mobile MyTouch 3G. And after giving it a shakedown, we're happy to report that it improves on its predecessor in a number of ways. As a rebranded HTC Magic, the design is familiar, but we like the sleek profile, expansive touch screen and user-friendly controls. We don't miss the G1's physical keyboard, though we recognize that some people may not agree.Inside the phone offers everything you saw on the G1, plus a few extra goodies thanks to the Android 1.5 Cupcake update. And we can't thank T-Mobile enough for adding Microsoft Exchange Server support. On the downside, the MyTouch has some usability quirks, the Web browser remains iffy, and some important features are missing....
